Have been so in love with beautiful illustrations lately. I love how unique each illustration can be, and how much emotion can be evoked from them. From very simple, to very intricate they quickly capture my attention. What lately has been drawing my eye the most are these below girly portrait illustrations.

I mean how fun are these illustrations and glam ladies?! I want to jump in the image and be their best friend and borrow their clothes.

And how great of a gift would they make to a bestie or your momma? They can be personalized to the person that you are buying for, and many artists customize them even further for a slightly higher price.

Claire Martin Designs

I’m just loving these unique illustrations, especially the fun bow shoes! She does many custom illustrations based on your wants. Although she has stopped taking orders for Christmas, I had to go ahead and share her with you. Late Christmas presents, perhaps? I just love these! I will be placing an order soon for her to do of me and my fiance! One year from today I will be a married lady 🙂

I think the girl holding the mug from CMD designs below is the perfect size cup for me. Is there ever really enough coffee?? No.

Contouring your face doesn’t have to be intimidating or as hard as it sounds. You don’t even have to consider yourself a makeup pro to do it, you simply need 4 products and about 5 minutes to get a contoured face. I can tell a huge difference when I contour and spend a couple more minutes on my skin! I’ll realistically not do this every day but for a special occasion, it’s worth it. As usual, start with a moisturized, clean face before applying products.

I am truly obsessed with Double Wear by Lancome and High Beam by Benefit.

Double Wear has been my go to skin makeup for over a year now and I continue to be very pleased with the results. Typically, I’m wishy washy with products and like to try new things but this one continues to rank above all others and I haven’t been tempted to stray once. It’s not too heavy but really gets the job done. It evens your skin perfectly, and covers any imperfections with ease.

High Beam is my favorite highlighter to date. My sensitive sensitive skin hasn’t rebelled against it either, so that’s a major good sign. It’s also super easy to apply. You simply brush it on like nail polish then blend with your fingers or a brush.

Don’t really have too strong of feelings for the blush and the bronzer, but they work. I haven’t ever been largely impressed by a bronzer or blush and feel that they all basically deliver the same result. Do you have any that you are very in love with?

After a long weekend of thanks and family time, it’s my goal to continue in thankfulness and appreciate all that I have been blessed with. And almost importanty, to be positive! I have always been a positive lady but as I get older, the harder it gets… so I have called upon some positive affirmations to continue in this spirit. I will not let setbacks set me back and will choose to move forward with a positive attitude!

I’m so so thankful for my family, fiance, and friends! My health, my job, my warmth, my physical ability, my readers (thank you, thank you!) and countless other blessings.

I’m also appreciative of brands that are creating positive change in people’s lives and giving back, like Chase Infinite. Why not wear something with encouraging words on them? It’s a great reminder to keep pushing and running toward your dream. No one can be a wimp when they have a shirt on reminding them that they can endure all things.

And don’t just stop at positive affirmations on your clothing, incorporate them into your everyday moments. You’ll be amazed at the difference it makes! Remember, YOU are in charge of how you feel, it’s no one else’s responsibility to make YOU happy or YOUR dreams come true, it’s YOURS!
